After tearing his Achilles tendon, Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is raising hopes of a comeback soon.
Will New York Jets fans see their currently injured star quarterback Aaron Rodgers in an NFL game this season?
The 39-year-old is still rehabbing from a torn Achilles tendon, but there are some things that give fans hope.
“I feel good,” he said in a recent interview with NBC. “I’m trying to elevate my leg as much as I can. I’ve got my dad shoes on, my rockers, so I can walk without pain”.
The superstar has also clearly defined his goal of returning before the end of the current season: “My goal is to come back this year. It has to be, otherwise it would mean a lot of rehab and pain. We’ll see what happens. “
Now a brief chat gives Jets fans additional hope that Rodgers’ plan will indeed become a reality.
“Give me a few weeks,” he said after the Jets’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers (6:27) when asked by safety Derwin James about the quarterback’s comeback.

Is Rodgers hinting that he could be back on the pitch in no time at all?
In view of the defeat against the Chargers, the Jets desperately need him. Rodgers’ replacement Zach Wilson was unable to put together a touchdown drive and suffered three fumbles.
The quarterback proved that Rodgers still has the passing technique despite his injury layoff when he threw a few balls before his Jets’ game against the Chargers.
