With just a few days to go before the start of the NFL draft, things are already hotting up in the American professional football league. One rumor follows the next and now Zach Wilson is also said to be on the verge of a trade
The NFL is in trade fever! This also affects the Denever Broncos, among others.
As reported by NFL insider Ian Papoport, Zach Wilson is moving to the 2015 Super Bowl winner.
The quarterback was most recently under contract with the New York Jets, but is now looking for a change.
Apparently, Wilson is hoping for a fresh start in Denever, who have failed to make the playoffs nine times in a row.
In order to acquire the 24-year-old, the Broncos would have to give up a seventh- or sixth-round pick to the New York Jets. However, they are expected to cover part of Wilson’s salary.
The young quarterback was signed as the second pick in the first round of the 2021 draft. The American signed a four-year contract and waived his final year of college.
