Is Tom Brady returning to the NFL? There are no concrete rumors, but one former colleague believes Brady still has what it takes.
After retiring from the NFL for the second time in February 2023, the legendary quarterback is now a TV expert and minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, among other things.
Brady is thriving in both roles.
And even though there are always more or less subtle rumors that Brady might want to give it another go, it doesn’t look like the 48-year-old, who turns 48 on August 3, will dare to retire from retirement again.
But that doesn’t mean anything, because his former rival Matt Ryan believes Brady can still compete today. Thanks to his outstanding physique, Brady probably wouldn’t even need much of a run-up.
“I think he could,” Ryan said on the “Dan Patrick Show”: “I mean, the way he takes care of himself, he looks fitter than ever. And I think his style of play helps him play longer. He doesn’t have to move around a lot, run, and do all those different things. Because he can still throw the ball, he can still place it really well.”
