The Tennessee Titans are quickly finding a replacement for the injured Derrick Henry: Adrian Peterson returns to the NFL stage.
Nashville – The former superstar returns once again.
Adrian Peterson replaces the injured Derrick Henry with the Tennessee Titans. The running back signs a contract through the end of the season with the AFC South leaders and will initially be added to the practice squad.
AP ran for 2,097 yards for the Minnesota Vikings in 2012 and is one of four running backs to break the 2,000-yard mark in a season. The 36-year-old recorded 604 yards and seven touchdowns for the Detroit Lions last season. He has been a free agent since then.

For the Titans, Peterson is a big-name, no-fuss solution who is still good for strong performances. Even after a possible Henry return in the playoffs.
