The Pittsburgh Steelers have to endure minutes of terror after their win against the Las Vegas Raiders: Their plane has to make an emergency landing.
The franchise had to make an emergency landing in Kansas City early Monday morning after their win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Team spokesman Burt Lauten told “X” that “everyone on the plane is safe and we’re making the necessary plans to get back to Pittsburgh later today.”
TV station “KDKA”, which had two journalists on board the plane, reported that the plane landed at just before 4am. According to the report, the plane was struggling with a failure of oil pressure in one of the engines.
The Steelers won 23-18 against the Raiders on Sunday and head coach Mike Tomlin had given the team the day off for Monday before preparing for next weekend’s game against the Houston Texans.
