NFL: Tom Brady surprises with announcement about Super Bowl between Patriots and Seahawks

In the upcoming Super Bowl, Patriots legend Tom Brady will not be supporting the New England franchise.

On Sunday night, the team that erected a statue for legendary quarterback Tom Brady will play in the Super Bowl for the first time since his departure.

However, his glorious past with the New England Patriots is apparently not enough to make TB12 a Pats fan in the NFL final.

“I have no personal interest in this battle,” the former playmaker announced to Jim Gray in the latest edition of the “Let’s Go” podcast.

“May the best team win. As far as the Patriots are concerned, this is a new chapter in New England, and I’m glad that everyone has embraced Mike Vrabel’s regime and all the great players who have worked so hard to get their club into this position.”

He continued: “We did that for 20 years. There was a little break, but the Patriots are back, and it’s a very exciting time for everyone in New England.“

Brady not a Patriots fan in the Super Bowl

According to Brady, his only interest is in the game being entertaining. ”I just want to see good football,“ Brady said. ” I want to see good plays, good throws, good strategies, and good decisions,” said the 48-year-old. Brady played in Foxborough from 2000 to 2019 and won the Super Bowl six times with the team. Since retiring, he has been working as a TV expert and minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
