NFL – Tennessee Titans: Star receiver DeAndre Hopkins apparently suffers knee injury

The Tennessee Titans will be without wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for the next few weeks. The 32-year-old suffered an injury in practice and could even miss the start of the season

The first game day of the NFL season is steadily approaching. For DeAndre Hopkins, however, it’s likely to be a race against time. The Tennessee Titans wide receiver has injured his knee in training and will be out for four to six weeks. A source told “ESPN”.

According to the source, the 32-year-old wore a brace on his left knee on Wednesday, but still took part in practice before leaving the field with the head of sports medicine.

However, as “ESPN” reports, the Titans are optimistic that Hopkins will be back on the field for the season opener on September 8. Tennessee will then face the Bears in Chicago.

Hopkins appeared in 17 games last season, amassing 1,057 receiving yards and scoring seven touchdowns.
