NFL – Tennessee Titans: L’Jarius Sneed sued for millions after shooting

L’Jarius Sneed was allegedly involved in a shooting in December. The victim is now demanding a million-dollar sum from the Tennessee Titans cornerback.

Tennessee Titans cornerback L’Jarius Sneed has been sued for at least $1 million in damages following an alleged shooting last December.

According to police reports, the incident occurred on December 6 of last year in Carrollton, Texas. The alleged victim is Christian Nshimiyimana, who owns an exotic car rental company.

Nshimiyimana stated that he was shot at from a Lamborghini while he himself was sitting in a vehicle at a car dealer. He was looking at possible new cars for his business.

According to the man, the person who fired the shot was either Sneed himself or his personal assistant. The bullet that was fired did no damage, and no one was hit.

Attorney Levi McCathern said the NFL player and his companion were subsequently arrested. The civil suit was filed last month and alleges an “unprovoked and cold-blooded assault in broad daylight.” There have been no criminal charges so far.

Sneed apparently threatened victim

According to McCathern, Sneed and his mother contacted Nshimiyimana after the incident and threatened him if he filed a lawsuit or spoke to the police.

A Titans spokesperson told the Associated Press that the franchise was aware of the allegations and was in contact with the NFL.

McCathern stated that the Titans had been contacted about the incident but had not responded. “It’s clear that the Titans lead their players off the field the same way they do on the field. No wonder they were the worst team in the NFL last year,” McCathern couldn’t help but remark.

Sneed had moved to Nashville last year via a trade from the Kansas City Chiefs. The 28-year-old had previously won the Super Bowl twice with the Chiefs.
