A serious injury to Teddy Bridgewater overshadows the game between the Denver Broncos and the Cincinnati Bengals. The quarterback is driven off the field after a failed hurdle attempt.
Denver/Munich – The Denver Broncos are anxious about Teddy Bridgewater.
The 29-year-old quarterback remained motionless on the ground after a hurdle attempt over a Cincinnati Bengals defender and then had to be driven off the field.

Teddy Bridgewater: Denver Broncos announce positive news
According to initial reports, however, Bridgewater was fortunate.
The Denver Broncos announced on Twitter that the playmaker was able to move his extremities and was taken to a nearby hospital for safety reasons. Bridgewater reportedly suffered a head injury.
The Broncos say that QB Teddy Bridgewater has movement in all his extremities. He was taken to a hospital as a precaution, in part due to a head injury.

Until his injury, Bridgewater had scored 98 yards. His backup Drew Lock took over the Broncos’ offense and scored Denver’s first touchdown a few minutes later.
