Two days after the accident involving Raiders star Henry Ruggs III, the family of the deceased victim has spoken out for the first time.
Las Vegas/Munich – The traffic accident of ex-Raiders receiver Henry Ruggs III and the associated death of a woman involved continues to lie like a black shadow over the NFL.
Two days after the serious accident, the family of the deceased victim has now spoken out.
Victim was “light in her parents’ lives
“The loss of Tina has hit her family worse than they could have ever imagined,” begins the statement, which was released on Twitter. “Her family meant everything to Tina, she was the light in her parents’ lives.”
The 23-year-old had lived in Las Vegas since she was born, it continues. “She loved Max, her three-year-old golden retriever, who passed away by her side on Tuesday morning. “

Family asks for peace
The statement, which is signed by the family’s lawyer, makes no reference to Ruggs, instead the deceased’s relatives ask for peace.
“For the duration of their grief, the Tintor family wishes to confine themselves to their privacy. May Tina rest in peace. At this time, the family will not comment further.”
Earlier Tuesday morning (local time in Las Vegas, Nevada), last year’s first-round pick had collided with another vehicle. While the receiver escaped without serious injury, Tina Tintor’s car was completely burned out. It was too late to help the 23-year-old and her dog.
In the course of the investigation, it was revealed that Ruggs was not only under the influence of alcohol, but had also been driving at excessive speed. The Las Vegas Raiders released the receiver a few hours after the accident (a detailed overview of the events surrounding Ruggs can be found here).
