Lamar Jackson had kind words for Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen after his Baltimore Ravens lost to them.
Josh Allen, quarterback of the Buffalo Bills, had only good things to say about Lamar Jackson. After his team won 27-25 against the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, he paid tribute to the opposing quarterback.
“I have nothing but love for Lamar. He’s one of the greatest to ever put on a jersey and play in the NFL. It’s an honor to share the field with him,” he said at the press conference.
After the game, Jackson also revealed what he told Allen during their embrace immediately after the game.
“Win it,“ Jackson said. ‘Great players recognize greatness. We recognize each other, you know? I told him, ’Man, go get something, go get a trophy. MVP, Super Bowl, go do something.’ I want him to succeed.”
Jackson and Allen are both considered favorites for the MVP award.
While the season is over for the Ravens, the Bills will face the defending Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.
