NFL – Pittsburgh Steelers: Aaron Rodgers organizes extra training in Malibu for his teammates

Aaron Rodgers invites his Pittsburgh Steelers offensive teammates to Malibu to get to know them better and train more.

Aaron Rodgers has some catching up to do.

The quarterback only signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers on June 7, missing much of the previous training. To counteract this, he has now invited his offensive teammates to Malibu, California.

On “The Pat McAfee Show,” the 41-year-old explained that he wants to convince his wide receivers, running backs, and tight ends to attend the extra sessions. Apparently with success.

On “A-Rod’s” social media account, he posted a picture with Scotty Miller, D.K. Metcalf, Ben Skowronek, Pat Freiermuth, Calvin Austin, and Roman Wilson. The Steelers reposted the NFL star’s picture.

“I know not everyone has Malibu at the top of their list. But a few players will be coming. We’ll have fun and spend some time together,” Rodgers commented on the trip.

Skowronek posted a video of Rodgers throwing an alley-oop to his WR while playing basketball in the gym.

A quick introduction is necessary. Although the Steelers made a lot of trades and deals in the offseason to make another run with Rodgers in what is likely his final season, bookmakers consider them the underdog in most games. Many of the transactions have been criticized.

Rodgers had previously negotiated with the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings in the offseason, but the Steelers were reportedly the only team to offer him a concrete offer.
