Next top star off the market! Derrick Henry signs a two-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens. Does the AFC now have to tremble?
NFL free agency is in full swing. More and more players are finding new teams or switching teams via trade. Now the next big name is off the market. Derrick Henry is moving to the Baltimore Ravens.
Henry became a free agent this offseason when his contract with the Tennessee Titans ended. Now a new chapter is about to begin for the self-proclaimed “King”. In Baltimore, the running back wants to build on his glory days.
In eight seasons for the Titans, the 30-year-old ran for almost 9,500 yards and 90 touchdowns. He finished last season as the second-best running back in the league. The four-time Pro Bowler is considered one of the best running backs in recent years.
Internal sources have told ESPN that Henry has signed a two-year deal with the Ravens. This could earn the power house up to 20 million US dollars, nine million of which is guaranteed.
Henry now completes a strong running duo for the Baltimore Raven. Quarterback Lamar Jackson is considered one of the loudest quarterbacks in the NFL. The QB often shines with his speed and agility. King Henry now adds an almost frightening strength to the running game.
