The Cincinnati Bengals and the German Tight End Moritz Böhringer go their separate ways. The franchise from Ohio dismisses the 26-year-old.
The Cincinnati Bengals dismiss the German Tight End Moritz Böhringer. This is reported by NFL insider Tom Pelissero. The 26-year-old was already dismissed by the Bengals last year, but thanks to the “International Pathway Program” he had a place in the Practice Squad, which is now being eliminated.
Böhringer is allowed to negotiate with any NFL team, as long as no team catches him in the waiver-wire. The Tight End was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in 2016 as the first international player not playing in college.
He has never been used in a regular season game.
