On the sidelines of the bitter 12:31 defeat of his Miami Dolphins against the Tennessee Titans, superstar receiver Tyreek Hill attracted negative attention because he was apparently raging about the third defeat of the season. According to Hill himself, however, his words were not meant negatively.
While his tantrum was interpreted on social media as frustration with an underperforming Dolphins defense, according to Tyreek Hill himself, that was not the case: “It wasn’t frustration, I was just motivating my teammates.”
He only gave the numbers of running back Jaylen Wright, quarterback Tyler Huntley and tight end Jonnu Smith and said he needed more from them.
The wide receiver told the South Florida Sun Sentinel on Wednesday that, but on Monday evening immediately after the game, Hill did not want to comment to reporters present.
Next weekend, the Miami Dolphins want to end their negative streak against the New England Patriots – hopefully Tyreek Hill won’t have to “motivate” his teammates.
