NFL: Miami Dolphins on playoff course! Clear victory against the New Orleans Saints

The Miami Dolphins are on a roll! The team from Florida continues their winning streak against the New Orleans Saints and is now a hot contender for a playoff spot.

New Orleans/Munich – The Miami Dolphins beat the New Orleans Saints 20-3 in the Monday Night Game to win their seventh game in a row. With the win, the Dolphins take over seventh place in the AFC and knock the Baltimore Ravens out of a playoff spot for the time being.

Once again, Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was the decisive man of his offence. The 23-year-old impressed with 198 passing yards, a touchdown and 19 of 26 passes. Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle alone caught ten of them for a total of 92 yards and another touchdown.

Miami’s defence was particularly active on Monday night. In all, they accounted for eight sacks and six tackles for loss.

Saints quarterback with horror debut

A NFL debut to forget “celebrated” Saints rookie Ian Book. The quarterback completed only twelve of his 20 passes, threw two interceptions and left the field without any points.

The 23-year-old had to play because Taysom Hill and backup playmaker Trevor Siemian were both affected by the Corona outage in New Orleans.
