NFL: Las Vegas Raiders likely interested in quarterback Justin Fields from the Bears

The Las Vegas Raiders have probably found what they are looking for in a quarterback with the Chicago Bears. According to NFL insider Tony Pauline, Justin Fields will play a role in the franchise’s plans

Just over a week after the Super Bowl, the rumor mill in the NFL is already churning again. The fact that the Chicago Bears are potentially eyeing one of the star quarterbacks with their first pick in the NFL Draft and the Las Vegas Raiders are looking for a new quarterback after a disappointing season are two open secrets.

According to NFL insider Tony Pauline, the trade carousel could pick up speed. The Raiders are said to be interested in Bears quarterback Justin Fields. The Pittsburgh Steelers are also said to be keeping an eye on the youngster.

Fields amassed 2,562 passing yards, 16 touchdowns and nine interceptions in the past season. As a runner, he added another 657 yards and four touchdowns to his work record.

Are the Raiders trading for Justin Fields?

If the Bears select a quarterback in the draft, Fields’ time as Chicago’s franchise quarterback is likely over. The 24-year-old recently unfollowed the team on social media.

A fresh start with the Raiders or Steelers, neither of whom pick at the top of the NFL Draft, doesn’t seem out of the question.
