The Kansas City Chiefs are facing new trouble. This time, it concerns allegations of domestic violence against their wide receiver Rashee Rice. The accusations come from Rice’s ex-girlfriend Dacoda Nichole Jones, who posted photos of injuries on her body on Instagram and claimed that the father of her two children had abused her for years. Jones did not name Rice, but made it clear that he was the father of her children.

Rashee Rice in trouble with the law even before the season started

The Chiefs said they were aware of the social media posts and were in contact with the NFL. The club did not comment further. So far, no police report has been filed by Jones in Overland Park (Kansas) or Dallas.

Rice was involved in a serious car accident in Dallas last year. He pleaded guilty to two third-degree charges, including collision with serious injury and illegal racing on the highway, and was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years’ probation.

The NFL suspended him for six games at the start of the season for violating the league’s conduct policy. The Chiefs are not in the playoffs, but Rice now faces another suspension.
