NFL: Kansas City Chiefs make personnel changes after minicamp

Following the mandatory minicamp in preparation for the 2025 NFL season, the Kansas City Chiefs have made some personnel decisions.

Personnel changes at the Kansas City Chiefs.

The franchise released tight end Kevin Foelsch and offensive guard Tremayne Anchrum Jr. on Friday, according to the NFL’s transaction report.

These moves came after the Chiefs signed tight end Geor’Quarius Spivey and offensive lineman Joey Lombard. Both players impressed during tryouts at the team’s minicamp.

Foelsch, who was released, had signed with the Chiefs just nine days earlier after being cut by the Houston Texans on April 21.

Anchrum, a seventh-round pick of the Los Angeles Rams in 2020, has played in 31 games in his career, including one start. The player can also call himself a champion, having been on the team’s roster for Super Bowl LIV.

Last season, he tried to prove himself for other roles with the Texans starting in November, but did not play in any games.
