The Kansas City Chiefs remain undefeated in their game against the Atlanta Falcons, but are struggling again.

The Kansas City Chiefs remain undefeated in the NFL. In the Sunday Night Game of Week 3, the Super Bowl winners won 22-17 at the Atlanta Falcons. However, the game was not necessarily a football treat.

The Chiefs owed their victory mainly to their defense, which was able to successfully fend off several attacks by the hosts in the final minutes of the game. Shortly before the end, the Falcons were six yards from the end zone, but none of the four attempts ended successfully.

A pass interference penalty against the Chiefs that was not given in this phase – on a throw from Kirk Cousins to Kyle Pitts – caused displeasure, especially among the fans on the internet.

Note: There was also a discussion about a “roughing the passer” penalty against the Chiefs, which in turn gave the Falcons 15 yards and an important first down.

For the Falcons, Drake London scored on a 14-yard pass from Kirk Cousins, and Bijan Robinson scored on a one-yard run.

For the Chiefs, Rashee Rice and recently signed JuJu Smith-Schuster each caught 13-yard touchdown passes from Patrick Mahomes.

Kelce not in the game again.

Mahomes completed 26 of 39 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns, but he again had to accept an interception. His counterpart Cousins threw 20 of 29 passes for 230 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce did not have an exciting day again. He was thrown to five times, catching four for a total of 30 yards.

During halftime, Head Coach Andy Reid told NBC that the team had to “get Kelce more into the game.” But this didn’t really work in the absence of his girlfriend Taylor Swift. So the 34-year-old continues to wait for his first touchdown of the season.
