Köln (SID) – German professional football player Jakob Johnson (27) has apparently found a new employer in the NFL. According to several league insiders, the fullback has agreed on a one-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Stuttgart native was released on Sunday by the New England Patriots, for whom he had played since his NFL debut. Johnson was thus allowed to negotiate with other teams.

Johnson had appeared in 38 games for the Patriots since 2019, catching his first NFL touchdown in a game against the Seattle Seahawks in 2020.
