The Indianapolis Colts have signed a college basketball player, following a familiar strategy.
The Indianapolis Colts have signed Carson Towt.
The basketball player from Notre Dame will get the chance to prove himself as a tight end with the franchise. The 2.03-metre athlete has signed as an undrafted free agent.
This type of project is nothing new for the Colts: Former VCU basketball player Mo Alie-Cox extended his contract with the Colts again this week and is now entering his ninth season as the team’s TE.
According to “ESPN”, Towt has never played football at a professional level.
