NFL – Indianapolis Colts: Anthony Richardson provides injury update

Anthony Richardson’s injury woes continue in his fledgling NFL career. The Indianapolis Colts quarterback has now provided an update.

The NFL is deep in the offseason, with training camp set to begin in just over a month. A quarterback duel is brewing at the Indianapolis Colts during this time.

The franchise, led by head coach Shane Steichen, signed Daniel Jones from the New York Giants in the offseason and gave him a one-year deal that could earn him up to $14 million.

The 28-year-old is expected to compete with Anthony Richardson for the starting job. However, Richardson has been struggling with a shoulder injury for some time and has been sidelined repeatedly in the past due to injury.

Richardson with a positive outlook

The former first-round pick has now provided an update on his current injury status.

“I’m doing well so far. I’m going to attack again now,” he is quoted as saying by “247 Sports.”

Richardson missed the OTAs and minicamp due to his shoulder injury. At that time, head coach Steichen did not give a timeline for Richardson’s return.
