NFL: Indianapolis Colts also threaten season ticket holders

The Indianapolis Colts are taking action against some of their season ticket holders. A similar move by the Seattle Seahawks caused a stir just a few days ago.

The Indianapolis Colts are also taking action against some of their season ticket holders. The franchise is thus taking a similar step to the Seattle Seahawks, who also issued a warning to their own fans.

The background to this is the frequent sale of season tickets to away fans. This means that the home advantage in the stadium is lost.

In the letter from the NFL franchise to some fans, which is said to be available to NBC and ESPN, it states, among other things:

“Our records show that you intended to sell or have resold most of your tickets for the 2024 season. And although no action will be taken today, if it turns out that you resell most of your tickets again this season, they will unfortunately not be renewed.”

Waiting list for new season ticket holders

The Colts are thus issuing an active warning to their fans.

According to the Indianapolis Star, the Colts have already set up a waiting list of fans who are said to be interested in new season tickets.

They could benefit from the franchise’s new approach in the future and secure one of the coveted seats at their home stadium, Lucas Oil Stadium.
