Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow has sad news about his plans for a $3 million Batmobile following a break-in late last year.
After Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was the victim of burglars, the superstar’s private plans have apparently changed.
The 28-year-old had actually planned to buy a $2.9 million replica of the Batmobile for his home.
But that’s no longer going to happen. “I didn’t end up buying the Batmobile because I had other things I wanted to do at the time,” Burrow said in a Netflix documentary.
“When you’re floating on cloud nine, something immediately pulls you back down. I just felt like it was the right year,” he said, looking back on the moment he learned about the break-in at his home.
He received the news on his cell phone while he was at AT&T Stadium watching his Bengals play the Dallas Cowboys.
The burglary last December mainly involved jewelry. Three Chilean men aged 22, 23, and 38 were arrested a few weeks later—they had photographed themselves with the loot.
