NFL – Baltimore Ravens: Lamar Jackson probably loses 750,000 US dollars due to absence at OTAs

Lamar Jackson is currently forgoing large portions of OTAs. According to a report, the quarterback is missing out on 750,000 US dollars

The NFL teams have started preparing for the 2024 season.

For the Baltimore Ravens, however, quarterback Lamar Jackson is still largely staying away from the team and is not taking part in voluntary OTAs.

His head coach John Harbaugh defended the playmaker for this just a few days ago and stated that he did not know whether Jackson would be back at training sessions in the coming week.

As “Pro Football Talk” now reports, the playmaker’s absence also has financial implications for the 27-year-old. He is set to miss out on 750,000 US dollars, the equivalent of around 691,000 euros.

He would probably have received the bonus payment if he had been present for 80% of voluntary sessions. He is now allegedly no longer able to achieve this figure.

Jackson, who signed a new deal with a total volume of around 260 million US dollars just last year, will presumably be able to cope with the loss.
