Following the end of his career, NFL star Aaron Donald has words of praise for T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With the end of his career, Aaron Donald has left a big vacancy in the NFL.

Including the question of who is actually the best defensive player in the league.

On the “Green Light Podcast” (with former NFL pro Chris Long as host), Donald was asked who he would hand the metaphorical title to.

“I think T.J. Watt is the best player in the NFL. He’s been playing at a consistently high level for years. With the Steelers, he’s always racking up double-digit sacks, plus the interceptions and touchdowns. That’s insane,” praised Donald.

At the same time, Myles Garrett (Cleveland Browns) and Micah Parsons (Dallas Cowboys) are among the favorites for Donald.

Donald racked up a number of awards and titles in his career, including ten Pro Bowls, and three Defensive Player of the Year awards.

He won the Super Bowl with the Rams in the 2021-22 season.

Last season, Myles Garrett won the prestigious Defensive Player of the Year award.
