NFL legend Aaron Donald has reportedly obtained a restraining order against a long-time stalker.
In March 2024, Aaron Donald announced his retirement from the NFL, and now the tackle legend is back in the headlines.
The Athletic reports that Donald has obtained a restraining order against a person who has allegedly been stalking him and his family for years.
According to the report, a court in Los Angeles has granted the former athlete’s request. According to court documents, the accused, Janelle Anwar, sent threatening emails to Donald in 2020. She also apparently sent packages and gifts. She is also said to have threatened the life of his three-year-old son Aaric.
In his application, Donald further writes that Anwar believes she is married to the former Super Bowl winner. According to the application, she filed for dissolution of their non-existent marriage last month and demanded a settlement of $6.5 million.
The longtime Rams pro was apparently informed of this by NFL security officials.
