New York Jets: Aaron Rodgers happy about “change of scenery”.

During an interview on the “Pat McAfee Show,” Aaron Rodgers opened up about his trade to the New York Jets. The quarterback is looking forward to the new job.

Nearly a week ago, quarterback Aaron Rodgers moved from the Green Bay Packers to the New York Jets via trade. During an interview on the “Pat McAfee Show,” the four-time MVP commented on the trade.

“Everything is very weird and different because I spent 18 wonderful years with the Packers, but at the same time it’s invigorating,” Rodgers said.

Of the new circumstances, the Jets rookie said, “I feel the new energy and I’m excited about the change of scenery. I’m excited to be here with all the guys and can tell everyone is very excited.”

Aaron Rodgers participates in practice

Currently, the 39-year-old is training with the team as part of the “voluntary workouts”. According to him, this would help with acclimatization. In the past, Rodgers has gone without participating in voluntary workout sessions with the Packers from time to time.

In his career to date, Rodgers has amassed just over 59,000 passing yards, 475 touchdowns and recorded 105 interceptions. The Jets, led by head coach Robert Saleh, hope Rodgers can lead them back to the playoffs after a year-long drought.
