The New England Patriots are deep in a form crisis. The players know that too. Safety Jabrill Peppers expressed his frustration at an inopportune time
After the bitter 7:10 defeat against the New York Giants, the frustration of the New England Patriots was visibly deep. Once again the offense could hardly score any points, once again the good performance of the defense did not help, once again Bill Belichick’s team suffered a defeat.
The Patriots now have a record of 2:9 – apparently much to the annoyance of safety Jabrill Peppers.
After the final whistle, the 28-year-old chatted with one of his former Giants teammates, running back Saquon Barkley.
Jabrill Peppers with a lot of criticism
The problem for Peppers: Barkley was given a microphone for the NFL’s social channels for this game day. Every week, players are supposed to use this channel to give fans an impression of the conversations and sounds on and off the field
Talking to Barkley after the loss, Peppers said, “You’re lucky we’re so sh**ty.” Barkley laughed, Bill Belichick was probably less pleased with this statement. The NFL uploaded the clip as part of a video
