Two days before the Tennessee Titans’ game against the Buffalo Bills, an assistant coach of the Titans tested positive for Corona. The team is still allowed to train outside the team facility.
The Tennessee Titans, who are suffering from the corona virus, simply cannot rest easy. After all results were negative on two consecutive days, the results were positive again yesterday, Sunday. An assistant coach is said to have been infected with the virus.
“This morning we learned that an assistant coach tested positive. We have temporarily closed our facility and are in contact with the league for the next steps”, “ESPN” quotes from a team statement.
The Titans now have a total of 24 positive test results to report. Since September 24th, 13 players and 11 employees have been tested for the corona virus.
NFL approves training outside team facility
The upcoming game against the Buffalo Bills does not seem to be in danger at the moment. The recently opened team facility has been closed again. A training operation was nevertheless permitted by the NFL.
The Titans announced: “In the early afternoon, the NFL gave the team permission to hold a training session with limited staff – the players, the coaches and a handful of other employees. The training session lasted 1:45 hours and was held outdoors.”
Meanwhile, defensive lineman DaQuan Jones and Long Snapper Beau Brinkley were removed from the Reserve/COVID-19 list and are now back in the active squad.
