Following more reports about Urban Meyer’s time as head coach with the Jacksonville Jaguars, wide receiver Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints has now stepped in and come to the defence of his former collage coach.
Munich/New Orleans – After further reports about Urban Meyer’s time as head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars came to light in the last few days, wide receiver Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints has now intervened and defended his former collage coach, as “awesemo.com” reports.
Previously, a report had emerged that Meyer was so unprepared as a coach with the Jaguars that he did not know NFL stars such as Aaron Donald or Jamal Adams. During a game against the L.A. Rams, Meyer allegedly asked a member of staff who the player with the number 99 on his back was.
I feel like y’all just saying anything now about Urban ♂️♂️

Thomas jumps to Meyer’s side
Thomas then took to social media to jump to his college coach’s side. The wide receiver wrote: “I feel like y’all are just posting anything about Urban now.”
Regardless of whether the reports about Meyer are true, it currently seems unlikely that the longtime Ohio State Buckeyes coach will get another chance as a head coach in the NFL.
Michael Thomas had played successful college football for Ohio State University under head coach Urban Meyer between 2012 and 2015. Meyer had been fired by the Jaguars in December after numerous scandals and a 2-11 record.
