Miami Dolphins: Tyreek Hill targets 2000-yard season

Wide receiver Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins has great confidence in his recovering quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and is targeting a milestone in the upcoming season.

Tyreek Hill has big things in store with the Miami Dolphins next season. After impressions from the offseason and training camp so far, the wide receiver has declared 2,000 receiving yards as a goal.

The 29-year-old already had 1,710 receiving yards last season. And that despite the fact that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missed numerous games due to several concussions.

Now that the playmaker is fully healthy again, Hill is optimistic he can reach the milestone that no NFL receiver has been able to achieve before.

“Our quarterback play is unbelievable. As you can see, Tua has been excelling all training camp. The way our head coach and our offensive coordinator design plays for us is laughable,” Hill told “NFL Network. “

Tyreek Hill wants to knock Lions legend off throne

“My job is really simple: I just have to stay healthy, pay attention to detail and just know where to be on the field at all times for my quarterback. Then I’ll be able to make the plays to get to where I want to be – which is 2K,” the seven-time Pro Bowler continued.

The previous NFL record holder is Calvin “Megatron” Johnson, who had the most receiving yards in a season to date with 1,964 for the Detroit Lions in 2012.
