Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa showed first concussion symptoms during game analysis.

Tua Tagovailoa will miss the current game against the New England Patriots because he is in concussion protocol again. He did not show any symptoms yet during the game against the Green Bay Packers, but he did during the game analysis.

Tua Tagovailoa is currently in the concussion protocol again and will therefore sit on the bench in Week 17 against the New England Patriots. This was likely triggered by a hit in the previous game against the Green Bay Packers.

However, the first symptoms of a concussion did not appear until the following day. When Head Coach Mike McDaniel wanted to analyse the defeat with his quarterback, Tua had problems remembering certain plays.

Only then did the Dolphins report the incident to the league. Since it is not Tagovailoa’s first concussion, league and officials were warned.

An investigation by the NFL and the NFL players union previously concluded that the quarterback showed no signs of a concussion during the game.

Tagovailoa in concussion protocol for second time

Tua already missed two games after week four after taking a hard hit against the Cincinnati Bengals and missed two game days as a result. This time, backup Teddy Bridgewater will have to do better to lead the Dolphins to the playoffs in the AFC showdown.

He might also be used again in Week 18 against the New York Jets.
