Miami Dolphins: Is Tyreek Hill getting a raise now?

The offseason has shaken up the receiver rankings. Tyreek Hill should be asking for a raise

Tyreek Hill responded on social media.

“Well deserved,” the Miami Dolphins wide receiver wrote about Justin Jefferson’s new mega-contract. The Minnesota Vikings pass receiver will earn 35 million dollars a year over the next four seasons.

Despite the congratulations, one thing is clear: Hill is getting restless. Because after the receiver market more or less exploded this season, Hill has slipped down the salary scale. He “only” earns a good 30 million dollars a year.

This puts him in fourth place behind Jefferson, A.J. Brown of the Philadelphia Eagles (32 million dollars) and Amon-Ra St. Brown (Detroit Lions/30,002,500 million dollars).

In 2022, his 30 million was a killer deal, today it is expandable from the perspective of the Hill camp.

Hill’s agent Drew Rosenhaus hinted at this

“Let’s just say I’ve been in contact with Chris Grier and Brandon Shore of the Dolphins, I have ongoing communication with them,” Rosenhaus said. “And I’ve communicated to them how Tyreek is feeling. And I’ll also reiterate that Tyreek has said he would like to finish his career here with the Dolphins. Without going into further detail, the Dolphins know how we feel.”

Hill likely feels underpaid. He was the top receiver in 2023 with 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns. And that’s how he’ll want to be paid.
