Las Vegas Raiders: Davante Adams sued by cameraman for shoving him

Davante Adams’ shove of a cameraman after the game against the Kansas City Chiefs in October 2022 continues to play out. Now the wide receiver is facing a civil lawsuit.

The employee of a TV production crew who was shoved by Davante Admas as he left the field last October has filed a civil lawsuit against the wide receiver, the Las Vegas Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Park Zebley claims that he feared for his life immediately after the alleged assault and was diagnosed with symptoms of concussion. He also claims he was attacked on the internet. He filed the lawsuit this month.

But what had happened? On his way from the field to the locker room, the wide receiver collided with Zebley. Several videos show Adams shoving Zebley as he crossed his path, stopping briefly to stare at him as he lay on the ground. As a result of the incident, the Raiders star is facing assault charges in Kansas City Municipal Court. Adams has his next hearing there on June 26.

After shoving Raiders star Adams: Zebley demands compensation

This charge, however, was not enough, Zebley said. He told The Star: “I’m looking for justice. You can’t push someone to the ground and pretend nothing happened. Not in real life. “

Accordingly, he is suing Adams for assault. The Raiders, because they are his employer, should also be liable. In addition, he accuses the Chiefs, the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority and Landmark Events Staffing of negligence.

Adams apologised shortly after the incident. The 30-year-old was not penalised by the NFL. “We are in the early stages of this. But he’s seeking compensation for what happened to him, and if a jury has to decide, they will,” Zebley’s lawyer said.
