More trouble for Chiefs star Rashee Rice: The wide receiver must appear in court again for a serious highway accident.
Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice caused a serious accident in April 2024 when he was driving significantly above the speed limit and engaging in a street race. Now he faces another trial.
Rice was speeding down the highway in his Lamborghini at over 190 kilometers per hour when he caused an accident that left six people injured.
One of the victims was Kayla Quinn, who has now announced on Fox 4 that she intends to sue Rice.
She said she was driving home from the zoo in Dallas with her son when her car was hit by the NFL star’s Lamborghini. She and her son suffered physical and psychological injuries in the accident.
Quinn also wants compensation for her car, which was a total write-off. Quinn and her son are therefore seeking between $250,000 and $1 million in damages.
The lawsuit is also directed against former college football player Theodore Knox, who had been involved in an illegal street race with Rice.
