Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes had to leave Monday’s practice early. He collided with the defensive line during an 11-on-11 drill on a scramble and had to be treated.

He left the session early.

After practice, Head Coach Andy Reid gave the all-clear: “He took a kick, but he’s okay. “

Mahomes was bandaged and went back to the training building early.

Upcoming practices or even the season opener against the Arizona Cardinals are not in jeopardy for the former MVP.
