Kansas City Chiefs: Frank Clark suspended for weapons possession

The Kansas City Chiefs will have to do without their defensive end for the next two games. The reason for this is an incident from March 2021.

Kansas City – The Kansas City Chiefs will have to do without Frank Clark for two games. The league has suspended the defensive end under the NFL’s conduct policy.

The punishment stems from a weapons possession charge filed against Clark in 2021. The case was resolved in September after Clark pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a weapon. He was sentenced to one year probation and 40 hours of community service.

Clark was arrested in Los Angeles in March 2021 after the car he was riding in was pulled over for not having a licence plate. A police officer noticed a gun in the vehicle. Two weapons, including an Uzi, were recovered.

Frank Clark back in squad on November 14

The Chiefs are having a bye week this week. Clark will return to the squad on Monday, November 14, after the team’s Week 10 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Before that, they face the Tennessee Titans in Week 9.

Clark is in good form. After recording 4.5 sacks in 14 games last year, he already has three sacks after seven games this season.
