The portal published the results of an official inspection of 29 snack stands during the Jaguars’ game against the Las Vegas Raiders on 6 November (27:20).
The inspectors registered a staggering 129 violations, finding two dead rodents behind a deep fryer and 159 piles of rodent droppings. In addition, seven of the takeaways were operating despite licences that had already expired in June.
Jaguars: food service company responds to inspection
The Buffalo-based food service company “Delaware North” is responsible, claiming in a statement “the highest standards” and citing “strict guidelines”. It said it worked closely with health inspectors that day “and most of the violations found were corrected immediately or within 24 hours. “
Two of the food stalls without licences had lost them due to “bureaucratic errors” – this was being worked on. The other unlicensed stalls listed in the report were not in operation at the time of the inspection.

Action News Jax also received a response from ASM Global, the stadium’s manager. It said it was working intensively with Delaware North and pest control company Terminix “to address all violations immediately”.
The “health and safety of our guests” would be a “top priority”. And: “Any lack of commitment to these standards is unacceptable. “
