The Titans currently stand atop the AFC South with a 6-2 record. Next weekend in Week 9, Tennessee takes on the Los Angeles Rams for the top seed. Henry will unquestionably be missed by the team: He’s totaled 937 yards and ten touchdowns so far.

Titans bring in Adrian Peterson as Henry replacement

The Titans have already responded to the loss of their superstar on Monday by signing ex-MVP Adrian Peterson, who was a free agent after his 2020 commitment to the Detroit Lions.

AP ran for 2,097 yards in his MVP season for the Minnesota Vikings in 2012 and joins Henry as one of four running backs to break that 2,000-yard mark in a season. The 36-year-old recorded 604 yards and seven touchdowns for the Lions last season.
