Russell Wilson’s anticipation is obviously high, the quarterback superstar showered his new employer Denver Broncos with praise. And sends a Super Bowl announcement along with it.
Munich – The timing fits: On Friday, the Denver Broncos released the dates for the preparation for the new season. Fans can rejoice: The franchise invites to 14 public sessions as part of the training camp from 27 July to 11 August.
It should be packed, as for Broncos supporters these will be the first opportunities to see hopeful Russell Wilson in action as the hot phase of preparation gets underway.
Hopefuls for a franchise weaned on success
With quarterback superstar Wilson came not only an excellent playmaker from the Seattle Seahawks, but hope personified that continuity will come at the signal caller position. And that the franchise will qualify for the playoffs for the first time since the Super Bowl victory in 2015.
Wilson is already showering his new employer with plenty of praise. “It’s been a blessing to come here, to a fantastic city like Denver, with so many fantastic teammates and a great coaching staff,” Wilson said Friday at his football camp.
A city that knows how to win
And at the same time, he knows how to get fans fired up for the new season. “When the trade came about, I said, ‘Hey, listen, I want to make sure I go to a city that wants to win.’ I want to make sure I go to a team that wants to win. And I want to go to a city that knows how to win.'”
And then came the thoroughly bold announcement, “Those three things are fulfilled here in Denver, so I think we have a chance.” Fans will love to hear it and believe in it a bit more should the Colorado Avalanche bring the NHL’s Stanley Cup to the Mile High City.
Russell Wilson was asked by a camper at his camp if he’ll play with the Broncos the rest of his career:
“Yup, let’s win some Super Bowls “

And one thing is for sure too: when asked by a participant if he would play for the Broncos until the end of his career, Wilson added, “Yup, let’s win some Super Bowls. “
