Sean Payton returns to the NFL as head coach of the Denver Broncos. But his soon-to-be former work colleague at “FOX”, Terry Bradshaw, has now spilled juicy details about his future collaboration with quarterback Russell Wilson.
Is Sean Payton really looking forward to all his new charges? After his absence as head coach in the NFL, which the 59-year-old used as a TV expert on “FOX”, the renowned coach is back.
But his soon-to-be former work colleague Terry Bradshaw is now revealing surprising details to the public about his anticipation of working with Russell Wilson.
Brisant: When asked if Payton would like to work with Wilson, Bradshaw said: “I don’t think so. But he’s got to deal with that now. He has no choice,” Bradshaw said in an interview with Vic Lombardi of Altitude Sports Radio.
However, he added: “I’ll tell you one thing though, he’s going to get the best out of it. “
Bradshaw: Three other NFL teams not an option for Payton
Bradshaw also offered insight on other potential employers. Payton also reportedly had a clear opinion on the Arizona Cardinals around quarterback Kyler Murray: “He didn’t want to work with that quarterback.”
There seemed to be agreement between Bradshaw and Payton regarding the Carolina Panthers: “You can’t go to Charlotte. That’s the NFC South,” the former quarterback apparently advised the departing TV pundit. After all, Payton’s ex-team, the New Orleans Saints, is also in that division.
At the same time, a job with the Houston Texans was taken off the table: “You can’t go to Houston. They don’t have a quarterback down there. And you don’t want to be in Houston,” Bradshaw reportedly told Payton.
The explosive interview of the ex-NFL star could make Sean Payton’s last appearance for the time being for “Fox” during the Super Bowl all the more interesting. However, it is still unclear whether the new head coach of the Broncos will comment on Bradshaw’s statements there.
