Cleveland Browns sign guard Wyatt Teller to long-term extension

The 26-year-old Teller signs a contract with the Cleveland Browns until 2025, making him one of the highest-paid guards in the league. He will receive a total of $56.8 million.

Cleveland/Munich – The Cleveland Browns have provided continuity on the offensive line ahead of Sunday’s visit to the New England Patriots by signing guard Wyatt Teller to a long-term extension.

The 26-year-old signs a deal that runs through 2025 and pays a total of $56.8 million, half of which ($28 million) is guaranteed.

Contract would have expired

Originally, his contract would have expired after the current season.

Teller thus becomes one of the NFL’s highest-paid guards. His $14.2 million annual salary is surpassed only by Joe Thuney (Kansas City, 16 million) and Brandon Scherff (Washington, 18 million).

He was only selected in the fifth round in the 2018 NFL Draft.
