Cleveland Browns: Series of robberies continues – car stolen from Newsome

The players of the Cleveland Browns are currently being hit by an almost unbelievable series of robberies. In the past few days, three Browns players have had their belongings stolen. The latest victim: cornerback Greg Newsome.

It’s like a curse on the players of the Cleveland Browns.

Not an athletic one, the Browns seem to have gotten rid of that in recent years. Instead, Browns players have recently been the victims of robberies with suspicious frequency.

On Monday, a Browns player was also robbed. Cornerback Greg Newsome had his car stolen.

Third Browns victim in just a few days

Sports Illustrated reports. The thief allegedly held Newsome at gunpoint, and the NFL pro surrendered his vehicle to the thief.

On Saturday, an unnamed player and running back Demetric Felton had their cars and jewellery stolen. Cleveland police are investigating.

“It’s a cruel world we live in,” Newsome later tweeted.
