Cincinnati Bengals defeat Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers win but lose Jimmy Garoppolo

The Cincinnati Bengals narrowly beat the Kansas City Chiefs in a thrilling encounter. The San Francisco 49ers are in for a shock after their win against the Miami Dolphins.

Kansas City Chiefs at Cincinnati Bengals 24:27

The Kansas City Chiefs’ winning streak has been snapped after five straight victories. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was not as effective as usual with 223 passing yards and one touchdown.

In addition, tight end Travis Kelce suffered a crucial fumble shortly after the start of the fourth quarter. The Bengals used the ensuing drive for a touchdown for the final score of 27:24.

Joe Burrow, the Bengals’ quarterback, threw for 286 yards and two touchdowns and also got into the end zone once himself. Running back Samaje Perine was also among the most effective players, gaining a total of 155 yards.

The Seahawks had a barely existent running game (90 yards) but a quarterback in top form in Geno Smith. He threw for 367 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Tyler Lockett caught passes for 128 yards and a touchdown. Seattle is now at seven wins and five losses.

Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders 20:27

The Las Vegas Raiders continued their winning streak with a third straight victory. Quarterback Derek Carr recorded 250 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception. His favourite playmaker was Davante Adams, who caught both touchdown passes and totalled 177 yards. Running back Josh Jacobs also excelled with 144 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Justin Herbert, the Chargers’ pass rusher, threw for an impressive 335 yards. However, his team only managed one touchdown. The running game was also not a factor with 72 yards. The Chargers now stand at six wins and six losses, the Raiders at 5-7.
