Buffalo Bills: Von Miller hopes to trade for wide receiver in draft

The fact that the Buffalo Bills are in desperate need of wide receivers after the Stefon Diggs trade also seems to be on Von Miller’s mind. With an Instagram video, he is now fueling speculation about a trade for the 2024 draft

Stefon Diggs has been traded to the Houston Texans. Gabriel Davis departed as a free agent to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Buffalo Bills could use a strong wide receiver in the 2024 draft.

Linebacker Von Miller thinks so too – and trumpeted it on Instagram. The defensive star posted a video with a text to general manager Brandon Beane: “Brandon Beane’s arrival at the NFL Draft to audition for a wide receiver. Beane is someone we trust.”

Will the GM listen to his player? So far in his six drafts as GM of the Bills, Beane has never picked a wide receiver on the first two days of the draft. Buffalo also has a need in the secondary.

The Bills only have the 28th pick in the first round of this year’s draft. Probably too late to acquire one of the most promising receiver talents like Marvin Harrison Jr, Malik Nabers or Rome Odunze
