Josh Allen instigates a scuffle in the Buffalo Bills’ practice. The star quarterback was unnecessarily tackled by a player from the defence – and the whole thing escalated as a result.
Munich – A scuffle broke out during a practice at the Buffalo Bills’ training camp. Star quarterback Josh Allen was among those involved.
What happened? During a two-point conversion, Allen grabbed the ball and started to run into the end zone. However, as he broke through the middle and the play was almost over, the quarterback was tackled by defensive tackle Jordan Phillips.

Bills’ pack formation
This was a little too much for the Bills’ playmaker, though, and Allen turned, walked up to Phillips and shoved him away. The whole thing escalated and a full-blown brawl ensued.
Within seconds, a dozen Bills players were clashing and trying to break them up. Moments later, more players came from further away and tried to break up the scuffle, some of them jumping into the crowd.

Allen ahead of next big season?
A short time later, the situation de-escalated and the Buffalo players were able to calm down. It is unclear whether the incident represents a high level of training intensity and motivation or unrest within the team.
Josh Allen, at least, will definitely be highly motivated when things finally get underway again. Last year, the 26-year-old signed a six-year, $258 million contract and delivered in full last season.
4,407 passing yards and 36 touchdowns with 15 interceptions were Allen’s tally. This year, the Bills are favourites for the Super Bowl title anyway – but nothing should happen to Allen in training.
