Buffalo Bills: Head coach gives update on Josh Allen after his surgery

Good news from the Buffalo Bills: quarterback Josh Allen has not suffered any side effects from his surgery.

Buffalo Bills fans should be especially happy to hear this news. Quarterback Josh Allen has suffered no side effects from the foot surgery he underwent two months ago.

The signal caller had to have the procedure to repair a broken bone in his right foot. But according to head coach Joe Brady, Allen will be ready to give everything asked of him when the Bills kick off their offseason program on April 6.

“He’s good to go,” Brady said, according to “NFL Network.”

Josh Allen looking forward to new Bills era

“What’s special about Josh Allen is he had surgery after the season, but he’s playing like he’s fine,” the former offensive coordinator added: “The guy could barely walk, and now he’s playing games without it affecting his performance.”

And further: “He’s just a different guy. Let’s hope it continues like this, but he’ll be ready to go in the offseason. I talk to him regularly. He’s just looking forward to getting started with guys like DJ Moore and figuring out what it’s going to look like – this new era.”

Brady was promoted to new head coach after the firing of former head coach Sean McDermott. He has been part of the Bills coaching staff since 2022, joining as quarterbacks coach.
