Buffalo Bills: General manager ‘keeping all doors open’ for Odell Beckham Jr.

Although the Buffalo Bills recently signed wide receiver Cole Beasley, a commitment from Odell Beckham Jr. is not off the table yet.

Munich – Free agent Odell Beckham Jr. has introduced himself to three teams. Two of them have since signed other wide receivers, but OBJ is still said to be an issue.

Buffalo Bills’ general manager Brandon Beane told Nick Veronica of “Rochersterfirst.com”, “We’re leaving all doors open. We had a very good meeting with him. But that’s it for now.” Instead, the Bills brought Cole Beasley, who had actually already retired, out of retirement in the interim.

“The fact that we put Cole on the practice squad doesn’t mean we’re ruling anything out. But we’re going to continue with the guys we have right now for now,” Beane added.

The Bills currently have four receivers on the active roster (Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Isaiah McKenzie, Khalil Shakir) and four on the Practice Squad (John Brown, Beasley, Tanner Gentry and KeeSean Johnson).

So it appears the Bills still want to keep OBJ personnel open in case someone gets injured.

But Dallas Cowboys” owner Jerry Jones also stated twice recently that he would not rule out signing Beckham just yet.
